Wedding Ceremony

I’m very excited to be doing what I’m doing. I feel honoured to help couples design a wedding ceremony that shows their individual tastes.

My role is to reflect your day in your way and create a wedding ceremony that is everything you could ask for and more.

Most couples I speak to ask the following of their ceremony;

They want something:

  • Simple, elegant and refined, yet not too formal and ‘stuffy’
  • Traditional in some areas
  • Personal, memorable and unique
  • Relaxed but in keeping with the style of the day
  • That offers an element of humour and light heartedness appropriate to the occasion
  • Not too long in length but not too short – long enough for people to believe you are married and to recognise the significance of the ceremony
  • That engages the guests – there is always something lovely or original to share and draw the guests into your ceremony.

As a younger celebrant I have a collaborative approach and work with you on a personal level to put together your ceremony, making it yours by listening to you and your partner, offering ideas and suggestions and together creating the ceremony that will become a wonderful part of your memories together.

I think it is important to choose a celebrant who:

  • You can relate to
  • Is down to earth
  • Friendly & flexible
  • Who has a fresh approach

Each and every ceremony I write from scratch. I meet with you for a preliminary, no obligation first meeting which takes about an hour. From there we correspond on email or phone and then I put together a first draft. We meet again to finalise content and conduct a half hour dress rehearsal on a day agreed upon prior to the ceremony at the venue.

I look forward to meeting you and being a part of your special celebration.
