This is a common question asked, especially if the couple have split families, and the answer is; walk down with whoever you are closest to and who feels appropriate. If you need to gauge the level of emotional context then have some honest conversations with family and come to a decision that is workable for you and those important to you. 2. During the procession, in what order should the bridal party, ring bearer and flower girl walk in? In most ceremonies (again no rule of thumb here) the ring bearer and flower girl make their entrance right after the bridesmaids and then of course the bride follows. 3. May our dog participate in the wedding ceremony? Most definitely, as long as it is a pet friendly venue and you understand what reaction level the animal will have at the ceremony; will your pet maintain a level of composure that won’t interfere with the ceremony? It can be a wonderful inclusion, especially if your pet is a fur baby to you and a big part of your family. Dogs are often ring bearers at weddings and sit in pride of place at the front of the ceremony by the bridal party.
