What were the key moments that captured your heart on the day?
Sharing our vows, having our daughter Olivia (15 months at the time) included in the ceremony and my Dad's speech.
What were your thoughts on your venue and the service provided; furthermore, what were you thoughts regarding the key components of your day, ie aspects that required supplier input?
I couldn’t have been happier with service that we experienced at Mantells, Mt Eden. They were professional, so easy to deal with and the staff are simply magnificent. The venue is absolutely stunning and food is incredible!
Our photographer, Jody Lidstone from IDo Photography was amazing and captured the day so beautifully. We were so happy with our photos and loved working with her.
Our florist, Sarah from Wallflower, did a stunning job with our flowers and I couldn’t have been more in love with them! We had a lot of comments on the day of how beautiful our bouquets were as well.
You Rochelle, our celebrant, did a wonderful job of incorporating Olivia into our ceremony and also kept the ceremony really upbeat and relaxed (despite the mid ceremony downpour!). We were truly so happy to have you as our celebrant on the day!
What are some key words of advice you'd like to pass on with regards to planning your wedding day, ie what did you see as essential and what worked really well regarding your approach to planning?
Having a timeline with all of the details on it along with a deadline for each task. I tried to get onto things early so that I didn’t have a mountain of things to do in the weeks leading up to the wedding.
